Our membership of SEDEX who are a global membership organisation dedicated to driving improvements in ethical and responsible business practices across global supply chains, supports our commitment to manage responsible sourcing whilst enabling improved protection of workers working conditions and their environment.
Our sourcing policies and programs are founded on the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) base code which is a leading internationally recognised code of good labour practices and is widely viewed as a leading global reference standard, and development programs are currently in place with our supply chain partners to ensure that our supply chain operations will meet with the requirements of the Australian Modern Day Slavery Act and the NSW Modern Day Slavery act 2018.
Hotsprings is committed to ensuring that all of our supply chain business partners comply with International manufacturing standards. We are committed to promoting ethical labour conditions, environmental protection, water and energy conservation and the safe use of chemicals in clothing production.
Hotsprings follows the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) principles and certification process.
Hotsprings takes its corporate and social responsibility very seriously, striving to encourage the most ethical business practices. We have implemented a quality systems manual, which policies a comprehensive ethical sourcing and factory policy and quality auditing system.
A seperate and independent audit is performed by Hotsprings’ nominated auditing house, to ensure compliance with local labour laws and international conditions governing child labour, forced labour , general workplace relations and conditions of employment.
Factories are audited on an annual basis to ensure social compliance and factory quality audit certification is continuously monitored to meet our customers and Hotsprings’ compliance requirements.
